Our History
Since 1994, BKR has been a paragon of innovation, professionalism and excellence. It is dedicated to product reliability, timelines and aggressive research and development. Entrepreneur, Ravin G. Melwani founded the company. Melwani was general manager for seven years with Bridisco, the largest electrical distributor for the U.K. before he created Portabreeze, a world-class line of premium portable fans.

Portabreeze fans are unrivalled as advertising specialties and premium corporate give-always. Their design and quality make Portabreeze fans an international seller in consumer gift and novelty showrooms.

In the last 9 years the Portabreeze collection has multiplied from 4 models to over 40 designs. Portabreeze design excellence has been recognized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, with two of our products on permanent display at the HK Convention Center.

Since 1995 and 2003, Portabreeze sales have shown a significant growth. While steadily increasing our sales from year to year, 2003 has seen the biggest injection to new product development with the introduction of several new models to the collection.
